On Point Surveying Limited is a family owned and operated Land Surveying and Consultancy company based on the North Shore of Auckland. Director and Senior Surveyor Tom Vivian is a former founding Director of Vivian Construction Limited. Tom started his career in Land Surveying in large tier one civil projects in the mines of Western Australia. Tom worked as a surveyor on the largest piling project in the world, Wheatstone LNG plant for Chevron, and the installation of 26,000 piles in Onslow, WA. He also worked on structural ground engineering for the Solomon Mine Iron Ore processing plant in Kings Valley, Pilbara.

He has also worked as a senior surveyor in the United Kingdom, before returning home to New Zealand. From here he has worked on multiple commercial and residential construction projects with Vivian Construction before branching out on his own as On Point Surveying and returning to his true passion of Land Surveying. Tom specialises in high accuracy surveying and large civil commercial projects. Tom lives in Devonport, where he grew up, with his wife Holly, and two daughters.
